a sonic journey inward

Yula

Come in chaos, leave in harmony.
Yula conducts deep listening experiences where the ancient music of the kanun meets delicate electronics, inviting audiences to pause, breathe and journey inwards.
A rare kanun player, her unique compositions combine maqam traditions, ambient, experimental, jazz and electronic music. As she builds each set live using a kanun, drummachine and multi-delay effects, listeners travel with her through a space that is intimate, expansive and emotional.
Returning with their electrons glittering, audiences feel relaxed and rejuvenated.
